JULY 2026

Saturday 25th July for 12 weeks | On line Crowdfunder event called Multiply the Magic: 4x Holiday Fund.

Thanks to the Mortgage Advice Bureau Foundation, every individual donation made on our Crowdfunder page will be tripled, which means your £10 donation would give £40 to Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre or a magic £25 donation generates £100 for our charity. The MAB Foundation will continue to do so until it reaches £5000 in donations.

AUGUST 2026

Sunday 9th August 12pm | Hot August Night 2026,  Mickleover Sports Club, DE3 9FB

Enjoy live music from some of the UK’s top tribute acts and bands, performing all your favourite hits on our spectacular outdoor stage with stadium sound and big screens. Bring your own picnic or treat yourself to delicious food and drink from a wide variety of local vendors – the perfect way to soak up the summer atmosphere with family and friends. Under 4’s are free.

Thursday 20^th August 8am to 7pm | a return of our Grand Days Out trips to Skegness; a coach; children with parents/guardians accompanying them are taken out for the day to enjoy the beach, some fish and chips with a pack up for the return journey.

SEPTEMBER 2026 

Saturday 5^th September starts 930am | Turnditch and Windley Show, Meadow Farm, Windley and will commence with Horse & Pony events at 9.30 am.

Come along for our tombola, raffle, Plinko and 100 squares nomination game.

OCTOBER 2026

Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th October | a maintenance weekend at Open day at the centre, Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre, 1, Scarborough Avenue, Skegness, Lincolnshire, PE25 2SZ

Monday 12th October from 7pm until 11pm | The Himalayan Gurkha restaurant, 80 Macklin Street, Derby, DE1 1LF.

Join for a selection of curries, some magic, maybe a game or two and a raffle. Places are limited to 54 so book early to avoid disappointment..

A CELEBRATION OF THE SEEKERS AND THE SWINGING SIXTIES

Step back into the Swinging Sixties with Backstory, who combine captivating storytelling, stunning live guitar and glorious harmonies to bring the music and memories of the era vividly to life.

This show features The Seekers, the sparkling harmony group that unexpectedly took the pop world by storm with irresistible hits like Georgy Girl, Morningtown Ride and The Carnival is Over.

Backstory guarantee an evening of pure nostalgia. Smile, reminisce, sing along and relive the soundtrack of your youth!
