Greg is raising money to help give disadvantaged Derbyshire children the chance to experience the joy of a seaside holiday in Skegness. For many of the children we support, a week away means fresh sea air, new friendships, fun activities – and a chance to simply be children.

By working directly with children — offering encouragement, building trust, sharing laughter, and creating moments of pure seaside joy — you help turn a simple break away into something transformational.

We are now recruiting Holiday Care Team Volunteers for our 2026 Core Holiday Programme at our centre in Skegness.
📅 Volunteer Weeks Available:
• Week 1 – Mon 25th to Fri 29th May (Half Term)
• Week 2 – Mon 27th to Fri 31st July
• Week 3 – Mon 3rd to Fri 7th August
• Week 4 – Mon 10th to Fri 14th August
• Week 5 – Mon 17th to Fri 21st August
• Week 6 – Mon 24th to Fri 28th August
• Week 7 – Mon 26th to Fri 30th October (Half Term)
✨ No experience needed – just kindness, energy and a willingness to learn.
✔ Full training provided
✔ DBS check required
✔ Interview and two references

Over 200 children will walk through our doors next year.

🎤 Charity Music Concert – Supporting Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre 🎶
Join us for a fantastic evening of live music while helping give disadvantaged Derbyshire children the chance of a seaside holiday they will never forget.
Reunion Vocals are hosting a Charity Music Concert on:
📅 Saturday 21 March 2026
🕖 7:00pm (Doors & bar open 6:30pm)
📍 Postmill Centre, South Normanton
🎟 Tickets:
£10 Adults
£5 Under 14
Free Under 5
You can pay via PayPal or on the door, and there will also be a fundraising raffle on the night.
All funds raised will support Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre, helping children from disadvantaged backgrounds enjoy a safe, joyful break at the seaside – often their very first holiday.
We’re also delighted that Amber Valley Mayor Steve Marshall-Clarke will be joining the evening in support of the charity.
