As we prepare to restart holidays in 2026, we’re building our team of amazing volunteers—and we’d love you to be part of it.
Whether you can give a few hours at a weekend event or support our fundraising from home, your time, energy, and kindness can make a real difference for the children we support.
Current Volunteer Opportunities
We’re especially looking for event volunteers who can help out at community days and local fundraisers. Roles include:
Chatting with the public
Running raffles or tombolas
Serving refreshments
Helping with set-up and pack-down

Saturday 26th April – Fundraising at GNC Special Shift Day (raffle ticket sales)
Sunday 1st June – The Big One @ Chaddesden Park (tombola sales)
Sunday 20th July – Alvaston Park Community Fun Day (tombola sales)
Sunday 3rd August – Open Gardens, Horsley Woodhouse (refreshment sales)
Even if you’ve never volunteered before—don’t worry. If you’re friendly, positive, and happy to muck in, we’ll support you all the way.
Other Ways to Help
Not available on event days? You can still support us:
Host a yellow collection tin at your local shop or workplace
Organise a coffee morning or bake sale
Donate or collect raffle/tombola prizes
Introduce us to a local business that might sponsor an event
