As we prepare to restart holidays in 2026, we’re building our team of amazing volunteers and we’d love you to be part of it.
Whether you can give a few hours at a weekend event or support our fundraising from home, your time, energy, and kindness can make a real difference for the children we support.
Current Volunteer Opportunities
We’re especially looking for event volunteers who can help out at community days and local fundraisers. Roles include:
Chatting with the public
Running raffles or tombolas
Serving refreshments
Helping with set-up and pack-down

Saturday 6th September – The 2025 Turnditch and Windley Village Show
Saturday 6th September – Amber Valley Mayor’s Quiz Night
Sunday 5th October Himalayan Gurkha, Macklin Street, Derby – curry night with great food and a raffle
Saturday 18th October – Skegness holiday home open day, 1 Scarbrough Avenue, Skegness, PE25 2SZ
Sunday 19th October – Amber Valley Borough Council’s Civic Service at St Luke’s Church, Church Street, Heage, DE56 2BG
Thursday 13th November – COSMO night in Derby
Tuesday 21st October – Mr. Stuart Boon accompanied by Xavier Andrews starts his walk from Derby to Blackpool
Saturday 22nd November – Spondon Alight, Spondon, Derby
Sunday 30th November – Santa Fun Run in Markeaton Park, Derby

Saturday 16th May – COSY Bike and Hike
Even if you’ve never volunteered before—don’t worry. If you’re friendly, positive, and happy to muck in, we’ll support you all the way.
