Are you coming on a holiday with us? We’re so excited to meet you!
At Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre, we welcome children just like you for a fun-filled break by the sea in Skegness. Whether it’s your first time away or you’re a seasoned explorer, we’ll make sure you have the best time ever!
🏠 Where You’ll Stay
You’ll be staying in a big, comfy house near the beach—with other children your age, friendly staff, and maybe a few seagulls too! 🐦
- You’ll have your own bed in a cosy room
- All your meals are cooked for you (and they’re yummy!)
- Grown-ups are always nearby to help and have fun with you
🌊 What You’ll Do
No school. No homework. Just non-stop fun by the sea!
Every day is packed with exciting things to do, and there’s something for everyone:
🎡 Zoom around at the Pleasure Beach or explore Butlins for some serious fun
🏖️ Build epic sandcastles, paddle in the sea, and race your friends on the sand
🐎 Ride the bucking bronco (hold on tight!) and sing your heart out at karaoke 🎤
🏊 Make a splash at the local swimming pool
🎨 Get crafty with art, games and creative challenges
🎬 Chill out at night with movie time, snacks, and lots of laughs
🤝 Make new friends from all over Derbyshire – you’ll never be bored!
And guess what? You don’t need to bring much—just some clothes, your toiletries, and your biggest smile 😄

You’ll meet other children from Derbyshire who are also there to have fun.
Our staff and volunteers are kind, friendly, and always ready to help. You can talk to them if you’re nervous, have a question, or just want to tell a joke!

It’s totally normal to feel a bit nervous before going on a holiday—but don’t worry!
We’ll be with you every step of the way, and by the end of the week, you’ll feel braver, happier, and ready for anything.

Just pack:
- * A few clothes
- * Your toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo and towel
- * No more than £5 pocket money
- * Something cosy for bedtime
- * And don’t forget your sense of adventure!

ps – Leave your phone at home! You can call home from our phone if you need to and you can take calls between 5 and 6pm in the evening if you have someone at home who wants to call you!
